CVS Pharmacy to Replace Lucky Bell Store?
Workers renovating site say chain pharmacy to open on Bell Boulevard.
Earlier this month, Patch asked Bayside residents what they'd like to see open in the vacant storefronts that once housed Chelsea Coffee House and Lucky Bell Store on Bell Boulevard.
This morning, workers removed Lucky Bell Store's sign and began renovating the building, located at 42-09 Bell Blvd.
A worker at the site said that a CVS Pharmacy would open in Lucky Bell Store's former locale, but it was unclear whether the chain drug store would extend into Chelsea Coffee House's former site.
The Bayside Village Business Improvement District could not be reached for comment.
Workers at the site did not know when CVS was scheduled to open.
