Black Friday at Bay Terrace

Find out which stores are offering sales and at what time they are opening on the biggest shopping day of the year.

Northeast Queens residents will be able to get a head start on Black Friday at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center as many of its stores will open early and offer sales.

Each store will have its own separate opening time and sales and not all stores will necessarily take part in Black Friday.

Here is a rundown of some of the sales being offered at Bay Terrace on Friday.

Ann Taylor Loft

This store will offer 50 percent off all day. The store opens at 6 a.m.

Barnes and Noble

The bookstore will offer sales, which are still in the process of being finalized, an employee said. In the past, the store offered a buy two, get one free sale. Barnes and Noble will open at 8 a.m.


This store will offer extensive sales, including 50 percent off all merchandise from Nov. 19 to 25, 10 percent off the entire purchase until noon on Friday and doorbuster specials beginning on Nov. 22, such as $5 for four-in-one puzzles, $8 micro-fleece sleep and plays and $5 girls and boys fleece mock neck pullovers.

In addition, Carter’s will offer 20 percent off purchases of $40 or more, but customers are limited to one coupon per day.


The store will offer 50 percent off all merchandise. It will open on the midnight before Black Friday.


There will be various sales on a number of different shoes at Footlocker, which will open at 7 a.m. on Friday. The sale began on Monday.

Game Stop

The store will open at midnight and offer sales on a number of its games.

The Gap

The store will offer sales, but an employee said she could not give out sales information.

Yankee Candle Co.

Doorbuster grab bags will include $100 of merchandise for $25 when customers spend a specific amount. The store opens at 8 a.m.
