It’s no secret, the is good.
But for whatever reason, even though it’s among our top five favorite restaurants in Little Neck, trips to this Turkish shish-kebab palace are few and far between.
Well, we’ve pledged to change all that in 2012 because with signature dishes like the spicy Chicken Adana (char-grilled spicy ground chicken seasoned with signature Turkish spice) and Iskender Kebab (thinly sliced lamb with yogurt and tomato garlic sauce) there’s no reason not to frequent the Kebab House more often.
First timers must try the Kebab House’s Patlican Salad, which is char grilled eggplant mixed with olive oil and lemon as well as simply out of this world—especially schmeared onto a warm sliced pita.
Then for anyone looking for the gamut of Turkish classics like baby lamb chops, various shish kebabs or the always appropriate doner sandwich, Kebab House has these all pallets covered too.
A few suggestions are the Kofte and Beef Shish with rice and pita.
The Kebab House is located at 255-05 Northern Blvd and open seven days a week, noon to 11 p.m.
