Beer Belly's Likely to Debut in Early November

Beer Belly's is expected to debut at the former Cascarino's site on Bell Boulevard in early November, a spokesman for the sports bar said.

The bar and eatery, located at 39-17 Bell Blvd. in Bayside, will have 50 beers on tap and 70 types of bourbon and whiskey.

"It'll be a sports bar with upscale cuisine," said Roy Feicco, who is handling publicity for the bar. "It's a neighborhood bar where you can find great food and watch the game. It'll have a speakeasy look to it."

The menu will include barbecue, burgers, salads and other offerings.

The walls will be lined with casques of bourbon and an upstairs section will have personalized beer taps at which patrons can simply use their credit cards for refills.
