Theatre By The Bay Presents 'Oliver!'

The production is set to debut Saturday at the Bay Terrace Jewish Center.

In its latest creative and dramatic endeavor, Theatre By The Bay, in conjunction with Tams-Wimark Music Library, will put on a production of "Oliver!" in March.

The show, which boasts a cast of 50 performers, will feature 25 child actors, singers and dancers from Queens and Long Island in a number of roles.

The timing of "Oliver!," written by Lionel Bart, which is based on the Charles Dickens classic "Oliver Twist," serves as a celebratory nod to Dickens as 2012 marks the author's 200th birthday.
