Queens Farm Museum to Screen 'Ain't Them Bodies Saints'

Historic farm will show critically acclaimed crime drama on Aug. 15.

The Queens County Farm Museum will host a screening of the critically acclaimed film “Ain’t Them Bodies Saints” on Aug. 15.

The movie, which garnered strong word of mouth at the Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals, will be shown at 9 p.m. at the farm, which is located at 73-50 Little Neck Parkway in Glen Oaks.

Nonprofit Rooftop Films will host the screening.

David Lowery’s film follows the story of a criminal (Casey Affleck) who escapes from prison and attempts to reunite with his wife (Rooney Mara) and daughter.

Doors will open at 8 p.m. and attendees will be able to listen to live music at 8:30 p.m.

The film begins at 9 p.m. and an after party will run from 10:30 p.m. to midnight.

Tickets cost $13 at the door and will include a free shuttle to and from the Little Neck Long Island Rail Road station.
