Oscar Nominated Films Playing in Northeast Queens

Find out where this year's nominees are playing in your community.

The nominees for the 85th Academy Awards have been announced and if you haven't made it out to see some of the movies up for the top awards, there is still time.

For Best Picture, this year's nominees were "Amour," "Argo," "Beasts of the Southern Wild," "Django Unchained," "Les Miserables," "Life of Pi," "Lincoln," Silver Linings Playbook" and "Zero Dark Thirty."

Currently, northeast Queens residents can see these films at AMC Loews Bay Terrace 6 or Douglaston's Movie World: "Zero Dark Thirty," "Les Miserables," "Life of Pi" and "Silver Linings Playbook."

"Argo" and "Silver Linings Playbook" are playing at Kew Gardens Cinemas. "Life of Pi" opens on Jan. 11 and "Amour" will begin screening on Jan. 25.

The Academy Awards take place Feb. 24.The full list of nominations is available on Moviefone.
