National Art League to Celebrate Mardi Gras This Month

Douglaston gallery's Month of March Members' Show will feature masks, costumes and paintings.

The is aiming for a carnivalesque atmosphere with its 17th annual Month of March Members’ Show.

This year’s theme is Viva Mardi Gras, which co-chair Frank Giusto said he expects will draw some colorful submissions.

“It’s a fun theme, so I think we’ll see a lot of variation and different approaches,” he said. “I think we’ll be mildly surprised.”
