Independent filmmakers present their best short and full-length films that depict every topic from light-hearted love stories, to political violence in the third world, to depression as a personal journey.
Showtimes begin Thursday at 6 p.m.; Friday at 6 p.m.; Saturday at 10:15 a.m.; and Sunday at 9 a.m. More film screenings will be at Renaissance Charter School, 35-59 81st St., Jackson Heights.
Price: Tickets are available online. Opening night $10; single block screening $6; festival pass $36. Children under 18 and seniors pay $3 at the venue.
