Location: The Classroom, Gallery U (3rd Floor). Thursday fair hours are from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
More than 200 vendors will display artists' books, catalogs, periodicals and zines at this special event sponsored by the Museum of Modern Art Library. The vendors include international presses, booksellers, antiquarians, artists, and independent publishers. The fair will host book signings, screenings, readings, and discussions. A selection of artist-led workshops will be held throughout the afternoon.
Book lovers can also attend the film screening and book signing of the documentary entitled, The Typographic Matchmaking in the City. The film focuses on bilingual lettering and poetic narrative for public spaces. It is directed by Jan de Bruin and produced by the Khatt Foundation.
