"Sarah's Key" Presented by the Furman Film Series

The film, based on the international novel by Tatiana De Rosnay transports you to Paris, circa July 1942. Award-winning actress Kristin Scott Thomas flashes back to a time when Jewish families were being arrested by the French police in nightly round ups as WWII began. Main character Sarah attempts to play the hero and hide her younger brother in a bedroom cupboard. Years later, an American journalist returns to the area to uncover the past in a gripping emotional journey. This film is part of a series sponsored the Great Neck Arts Center.
