The Samuel Field Y Promoting Healthy Relationships Program and ReelAbilities NY Disibilities Film Festival Present a Screening of GIRLFRIEND

THE 4TH ANNUAL REELABILITIES: NY DISABILITIES FILM FESTIVAL along with the Samuel Field Y Promoting Healthy Reltionships Program are hosting a film screening of GIRLFRIEND at the Central Queens YM & YWHA in Forest Hills on February 13, 2012 AT 1:00PM.

GIRLFRIEND is about Evan, a young man with Down Syndrome, who lives with his mother in a working-class town
hit hard by the recent economic recession. When he unexpectedly comes into a large amount of money, Evan uses it to romantically pursue Candy, a girl he has loved since high school.

After the screening you will have to opportunity to meet and speak with the film's Director, Justin Lerner; the film's star, Evan Sneider; and his mother, Donna Sneider.
