Memorial Day Art and Essay Contest for Kids

The Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade Organization is sponsoring an art and essay contest honoring our country's military men and women. Students from 16 local schools are expected to participate and submit entrees that will be awarded prizes by a panel of judges. Coordinator Barbara Quigley Barba will oversee the competition.
