Master Class with Ashley Rich from So You Think You Can Dance

Ashley Rich was a finalist on the eighth season of the hit television show “So
you think you can Dance”. Originally from Antioch, California, she grew up dancing at local Antioch dance studio Ltw Dance and Performing Arts, while also training at Moving Arts Dance in Walnut Creek, California. As for her collegiate training, she attended the famous Ailey School in New York
City, home of the modern dance company Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. While studying at Ailey, she had the great opportunity to assistant
teach at Julliard alongside the world renowned choreographer Milton Myers in the Horton technique, as well as perform in Ailey’s Citigroup Theater. She has been featured in 2 recording artist’s music videos; Zion I’s “Geek to the Beat”, as well as John West’s “Loved you Tonight”. She was also featured article in the Bay Area magazine Diablo. She has guest taught at many dance studios and schools throughout California. She is excited about her future in dance, with her main focus on Broadway and Concert dance.
