Great Neck Library presents Elizabeth Schmidt, editor of the new Poets Laureate Anthology

Celebrate April is National Poetry Month. Attend this great literary event celebrating the poems and lives of the 43 poets who were named Poets Laureate of the United States.  Ms. Schmidt is a former poetry editor at The New York Times, who also edited the highly praised anthology Poems of New York.  A published poet herself, she is Contributing Editor at the literature magazine Open City. This free event is open to all.  Join us at the Great Neck Library for a  lovely afternoon of poetry and conversation. Refreshments to follow, along with a book sale and signing.
