Furman Film Series presents: "Incendies"

The independent film "Incendies" takes twins Jeanne and Simon to the Middle East to search for their roots and fulfill their mother's dying wishes. The story depicts the hatred and long wars they encounter on their journey. This adaptation of Wajdi Mouawad's play "Incendies" was given several major awards including: best film at the Venice Film Festival; best Canadian film at the Toronto Film Festival; and it was an Academy Award nominee of 2011. The Furman Film Series is sponsored by the Great Neck Arts Center. 

Note: Doors open at 7 p.m. for series subscribers and 7:15 p.m. for individual tickets holders.
