The Bayside Historical Society is accepting entries for the Building the Throgs Neck Bridge and Clearview Expressway Art and Essay Contest. Now, through May 15, kids from the 3rd to 8th grade can take their submissions to the Bayside Historical Society for a chance to be put on display for everyone to see.
Kids can use their creativity in a number of ways. From pictures and poetry to models and essays, participants in the contest can express what the building of both the bridge and expressway has meant to Bayside's community.
