Local artist Paul Kaplan is exhibiting fifteen of his watercolor paintings and pastel drawings at the Il Vesuvio Restaurant at 39-34 Bell Blvd. Mr. Kaplan has been a resident of Bayside since 1998 and is a retired Art instructor and Art Director for the Department of Education. He specializes in creating landscape imagery and semi-abstract compositions that entice the viewer to look for meanings in the work. The exhibition will on display through the beginning of the summer a price list for the work is available upon request at the restaurant. Stop in and enjoy some great pizza and excellent cuisine while you view the exhibit, the artist frequently stops by to answer any questions regarding the work.
