The Douglaston Community Theatre is performing John Morgan Evans’ play “Daughters” eight times this month at Zion Episcopal Church.

The dramatic comedy follows the story of four generations of an Italian American family.

During the course of the play, the family’s female members attempt to settle the future of the family patriarch as well as deal with their own marriage and motherhood conflicts.

The play, which will be the community theater’s fall production, will be performed at Zion Episcopal Church, located at 243-01 Northern Blvd. in Douglaston.

Matinees at 2 p.m. will be held on Nov. 16 and 24, while evening performances at 8 p.m. will take place on Nov. 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30.

The show is being directed by Marilyn Welsher and features Madelon Avallone, Elizabeth Bisciello, Kim Kaiman, Sharon Levine and Harriet Spitzer-Picker.

Attendees should enter the church from 44th Avenue off Douglaston Parkway.

Tickets cost $17 for adults and $15 for seniors and students with ID. For more information or to make a reservation, call 718-482-3332.
