Bayside Youths Exhibit Work at Long Island Children's Museum

Three children's work on display as part of exhibit dedicated to de Kooning.

Three children from Bayside have their artwork on display for an exhibit dedicated to Willem de Kooning at the Long Island Children's Museum.

Bayside's Cassidy Everett, Lily Laszlo and Chloe Lirarakis recently took part in an abstract painting series that encouraged participants to explore de Kooning's processes and techniques.

Workshops revolving around the exhibit focused on line and movement as design elements and introduced children to the role that color plays in expressing mood and thought.
