Whiz Kid: Tess Robin

Tess Robin

Know a great kid who made Eagle Scout or did your local soccer team take the championship? They may be our next Patch Whiz Kids honoree.

Each week, Bayside Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments. We want to hear about these amazing children and teens and select one each week as the Patch Whiz Kid.  Submit your nomination in our comment box below or e-mail the information to Lori.gross@patch,com. Be sure to include all of the information you see below, and a photo. This week's honoree is Tess Robin.

  • Name:  Tess Robin
  • Age: 8
  • School: P.S. 169
  • Accomplishment: Had the role of “Molly”—the littlest orphan—in Theatre By The Bay’s Broadway production of “Annie”, which just finished its run in March.
  • Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Tess enjoys acting, singing and dancing, especially in shows that include her friends and her big sister, Isabel. She also likes ice skating, horseback riding, soccer and reading books. Tess is a top student and loves school, especially her teachers. She is looking forward to spring finally coming to Bayside, so she can play outdoors and turn 9-years-old.
