A watch manufacturer is now expected to move into the former Leviton site in Little Neck in the late spring or summer, Community Board 11’s district manager said.
E. Gluck Corp., which is based in Long Island City, will likely move into the former Leviton site along Little Neck Parkway between May and August, CB 11 District Manager Susan Seinfeld said.
Steel Equities, the commercial real estate developer that purchased the property, told Seinfeld that construction is in progress at the site and that disruption to the local community was not expected.
Leviton, which manufactured electrical wiring devices and motion sensors moved its headquarters to Melville in 2009.
Its former site on Little Neck Parkway has remained vacant for the past four years.
E. Gluck Corp. manufactures a number of licensed brand watches, such as Anne Klein and Nine West.
