Three Mo’Tenors will take place at Queensborough Performing Arts Center (QPAC) in Bayside on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. The show was conceived and directed by Marion J. Caffey, a highly acclaimed veteran Broadway performer, choreographer and director. It features African-American tenors classically trained that show off the best of Opera, Broadway, Jazz, Motown and the Blues. It is the first time the show will be performed at QPAC.
“In my opinion, Three Mo’ Tenors offers anything and everything you can hope to get out of a theatrical experience,” says Susan Agin, executive and artistic director of QPAC. “All theatrical elements make this show superb including a tremendous range of music plus dancing. I knew that it was something that our fans needed to see.”
Agin adds that the show is age-appropriate for any generation, from kids to adults. The production has been televised on PBS, as part of its Great Performances series, and ran at the Little Shubert Theater on Broadway. Tickets are $40 orchestra and $35 regular. Parking is free.
