The Best Holiday Performances

Where you can catch Santa

"All the world's a stage," said Shakespeare, and around the holidays, we're reminded. 

Here are some Northeast Queens performances that are less theatre of the street and more theatre of the season:

1. Queens College is  the day of Christmas, on Dec. 26 at 3 p.m. at the Colden Auditorium.

2. Students from Bayside High School's Concert Choir and Jazz Ensemble will be  of the Met Life Building in Manhattan on Dec. 2o from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stop in if you know someone, or if your commute brings you nearby. 

Also, Santa's a busy guy this time of year. If you want to catch him, you've got to work around his schedule. Click the links to see where he'll be around town, and when.

3. Santa and his Elf are making an appearance at The Bay Terrace shopping center. Cameras are welcome, and  includes free giveaways, courtesy of The Bay Terrace. 

4. Santa Claus will be today from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the World Ice Arena, in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Kids can even skate along with the man in the velour suit. He'll be there Christmas Day too.

5. All Saints' Episcopal Church is having its at the church on Dec. 24, and the day after Christmas, on Dec. 26.
