Anybody got an ice scraper? There are five things for Wednesday up for trade:

1. Community District Education Council 26 has its monthly public meeting today. The Council will be going over the 2010-1014 Five Year Capital Plan , which outlines future projects for District 26 schools.  and can give your input too. All three Bayside Patch, Little Neck Patch and Douglaston Patch editors plan to be there, so say hello!

2. Were there ever two words that, put together, were more pleasing to the ear, than "sushi buffet?" Beats the heck out of "cellar door." Douglaston Patch has a story on the  at the site of what once was the Seville Diner.

3. St. Robert Bellarmine School is having a Christmas Boutique to raise funds for the school.  to purchase Christmas items, as well as raffle tickets.

4. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church of Bayside's Senior Citizens Leisure Club meets today and every Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. New members are always welcome. for plain old talk over coffee and pastries.

5. If you're a friend/mom/boss of a student, be nice to them/give them a cookie/cut them a break; It's their finals week, through Dec. 21.
