March 25, 2011

Good Morning, Bayside, how are you today? Well, we hope. Here are Five Things for your Friday enjoyment:

1. If you haven't yet by Victor Mimoni of last Sunday's flea market day at St. Josaphat's church, you're really missing out—they are something special.

2. Mayor Michael Bloomberg tweeted yesterday; "The 2010 Census appears to have significantly undercounted the NYC population http://bit.ly/i4dN1w ."

3. Speaking of Mayor Mike, he'll be live on the John Gambling Radio Program tomorrow morning at 8:05a.m. If you do Twitter, you can ask him a question by tweeting it with the hashtag "#askmike".

4. Does anybody enjoy shark fin soup? Your local editor has never had it herself. Is it good at all? Let us know—no judgement here. Does anybody know of anywhere local that serves it? It seems some folks don't approve of the means of culling fins from sharks, is why we ask.
