Santa to Make Two Appearances in Northeast Queens on Dec. 9

The jolly old elf will visit Fairway Market and the Bayside Hills Civic Association's holiday festival

Santa Claus is coming to town on Dec. 9 for two appearances in northeast Queens.

From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Santa will take photos with local children at Douglaston's Fairway Market, which is located at 242-02 61st Ave.

Framed photos will be $5 or free with purchases of $5 and above on Sunday.

Then, at 5 p.m., Santa will make his way over to the Bayside Hills Civic Association's 19th annual holiday festival at Bell Boulevard and 53rd Avenue.

That event will include a Christmas tree and Menorah lighting, holiday songs and refreshments. For more information, read Patch's preview of the festival.
