Samuel Field Y to Offer Spring Break Trips from March 25 to 29

Events will include visits to the movies and the New York Hall of Science.

The Samuel Field Y will offer spring recess trips for northeast Queens students in kindergarten through seventh grade from March 25 to 29.

On March 25, local children will be taken to a neighborhood movie theater to see “The Croods.” The day’s event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The National Circus Project will drop by the Y on March 28 for an afternoon of workshops. This event will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

And, on March 29, students will be taken to the New York Hall of Science, where attendees will be able to watch the new Bubblemania show. This day runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The price for each day trip is $60 for members and after school or camp families and $70 for non-members. Fees include full day care, transportation, admission for the trip and a snack. Pre-registration is required.

An additional $10 will be added to day-of-event registration is space permits. Parents should pack a lunch for their child for each trip.
