Samuel Field Y to Host eBay Workshop

Attendees will learn how to buy and sell items online.

The Samuel Field Y will hold a workshop on Dec. 18 on how to buy and sell on eBay.

The event, which will run from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., will be led by Heather Ganiaris, of the Y’s senior center.

Gianaris is a licensed teacher and avid eBay user for more than eight years. She will discuss simple marketing techniques and digital photography tips for placing items online for sale.

During the course, attendees will learn how to make extra cash by creating their own business through buying and selling on eBay.

The workshop will also include information on how to set up a Pay Pal account, sell an item, find the right market for your item and create a buzz for your product as well as a talk on shipping procedures.

For more information or to RSVP, call 718-224-0566. The Y is located at 58-20 Little Neck Parkway.
