The Samuel Field Y is signing up Queens schoolchildren for a series of events, including skating and bowling, that will take place between Dec. 24 and 31.
The events, which are meant for local children in kindergarten through seventh grade, will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Children who are currently in after school programs or camps at the Y will pay $60 per trip, while the cost for non-members is $75.
The admission cost will cover full day care, transportation and a snack.
“We do this every year,” said the Y’s Andy Gavora. “We understand that some parents can’t take off the whole week for Christmas, so we try to make this flexible for them.”
On Dec. 24, the Y will take children on a Trip to the Movies and, on Dec. 26, attendees will play laser tag and enter the Amazing Maze at Active Kidz.
Lunch will be provided on Dec. 27 during a trip to United Skates, where children will be able to enjoy a day of skating.
On Dec. 28, the Y will take kids to Ultimate Ga-Ga. Activities for Dec. 31 include a New Year’s celebration and bowling trip.
Those who take part in all trips will receive a 10 percent discount.
Space is limited, so parents should register their children as early as possible.
Children should be dropped off and picked up every day at the Y, which is located at 58-20 Little Neck Parkway. A lunch should be packed for them on every day except Dec. 27.
