Register for Camp ASAP or Two Bridges

Good morning, Bayside. Your Saturday Five Things are all pretty important, from registration deadlines, to lane closures. Here they are:

1. If you commute to the Bronx, you might find your commute a bit quicker. At least for the time being. See here for our article on what MTA Bridges and Tunnels to help you cruise along.

2. Well the Queens Co-op Council rejected a deal to cap property valuations at a 50 percent increase for the year. Little Neck Patch .

3. The rainstorm late Thursday night and Friday morning should serve as a reminder to us all to clear away .

4. The DOT will be on the Northern Boulevard Bridge through at 2 p.m. today. If you're  planning to travel of the Flushing River over the bridge, expect one or more lanes to be closed.

5. You only have until Sunday to register your child for an NYC Parks Dept. summer camp! Their rates are extremely reasonable ($500 for most of the summer for a Regular day program and $575 for and Extended Day program). Check out their Web site to register online.
