Queens Library at North Hills to Close One Week for Upgrade
Branch will shut its doors on Jan. 17 and reopen one week later.
The Queens Library at North Hills will close on Jan. 17 for one week to allow for upgrades to the branch's equipment, a Queens Library spokeswoman said.
The library, located at 57-04 Marathon Parkway in Little Neck, will close at the end of the day to allow for the site to be upgraded with RFID-powered self service check-in and check-out.
The library is expected to reopen one week later.
In the meantime, local residents can use the Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., or the Douglaston Little Neck Library, located at 249-01 Northern Blvd.
