American Legion Post 103 leads annual ceremony along 235th Street.
The American Legion Post 103 held its annual Veterans Day celebration on Monday in Douglaston.
The ceremony was held in front of the post's headquarters, located at 42-28 235th St.
A number of leaders from local houses of worship took part in the ceremony, including St. Barnabas' Rev. Lindsay Lunnum, Saint Anastasia Church's Rev. Monsignor Anthony Sherman and the Community Church of Douglaston's Rev. Linden DeBie.
