Local leaders attend reopening of local branch following months of renovations.
The Bayside Library reopened on July 20 following a seven-month renovation process that added $1.3 million in upgrades.
The library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., has a new RFID self service check out, 24/7 check-in machines, handicap accessibility and renovated areas for adults, teens and children.
Elected officials and community leaders turned out last weekend to celebrate the reopening of the library branch.
