Paddy's Day Pub Crawl

A few spots in Manhattan to pop in for a pint along the parade route

They might have shortened the St. Patrick's Day Parade route this year by seven blocks, but that doesn't mean New York, Irish and not-Irish, need to have less fun.

The Parade kicks off at the usual starting point — 44th Street and Fifth Avenue — then makes its way Uptown to 79th Street, with many well-stocked drinking establishments along the way.

Maggie's Place, 21 E. 47th St.
Midtown Manhattan's oldest family owned Irish pub and restaurant, Maggie's place is located at E. 47th Street, near where the parade begins. A guaranteed hit, Maggie's Place is an authentic Irish Pub right in the heart of Manhattan. Connolly's Pub & Restaurant, 43 W. 54th St.

Mickey Mantle's Restaurant & Sports Bar, 42 Central Park South
With wall-to-wall Yankees posters, paraphernalia and memorabilia, Mickey Mantle's is the spot for Bombers fans looking to celebrate on St. Patrick's Day. Located at 42 Central Park South, you don't have to walk far from the parade to enjoy this Manhattan hot spot.
