Oak Hills Jewish Center to Host Yom Kippur Supper

Event will act as break-the-fast meal following Yom Kippur services.

The Jewish Center of Oak Hills will host a break-the-fast supper at the conclusion of its Yom Kippur services on Sept. 14.

Those interested in attending the dinner should make a reservation by calling 718-631-0100. The cost is $15 per person and payments must be made no later than Sept. 10.

The center is located at 50-35 Cloverdale Blvd. in Oakland Gardens. It is handicap accessible with an elevator to all floors.

Yom Kippur, which is also known as the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year for the Jewish people. This year, it begins on the evening of Sept. 13 and ends during the evening of the following day.
