1. Yep, public schools are open today.

2. Finding any parking at all amid the snow mounds will be hard enough. We guess the city is sympathetic to that, because it's giving us the day off from alternate side and paying the meter.

3. Incidentally, did you know the city earns approximately $350,000 in revenue every day from metered parking, according to the Department of Transportation? 

4. We broke some major snow records yesterday. Lucky us.
