Gas prices continue to fluctuate. Usually up or down 5-9 cents. Unfortunately a downward trend is not yet visible, cash only. Also, Doug Fairtile is our first Veteran to be honored this month. Fairtile survived the and helped liberate Dachau.

Rain did not stop your tenacious reporter from setting out to document the Pay Phones of Little Neck. The expose is a tell all guide to the 30, give or take, public phones in and around the neighborhood. Ofen overlooked, public phones are here if we need them.
Wednesday
School cuts? Council member Halloran to the rescue. Stto after school programming. About half the programs expected to be cut are here in Queens.

Friday
While the Mayor announced cuts at the beggining of this week, the DOE announced that P.S. 188 in Bayside, and P.S. 18 in Middle Village could be selected to host a for students.
