Hot Cross Buns or National Art League

It's day two of Lent, Bayside. Anybody got a good recipe for hot cross buns they want to share? I'll give you five things you need to know for your Thursday, paid in advance:

1. WNYC reports that City Comptroller John Liu did a study which indicated that low skilled workers make more working for the city than they would on average working in the private sector. In the same token, educated or skilled workers make less working for city government than they typically do in the private sector. Go figure.
