Great Escape: Blood Manor

A haunting attraction

Hard-core Halloween enthusiasts should head to New York City this month for some serious scares at Blood Manor. Open in a new location for this year in lower Manhattan’s Hudson Square District, Blood Manor is a seriously terrifying Great Escape so leave the kids home. This super scary attraction is in its seventh year.

New for Blood Manor this year are state-of-the-art animatronics and props of the “Walking Dead.” The seven new experiences include the “Graveyard of the Doomed,” “Killer Klowns,” “Disgraceland,” the “Wall Crawler in Death Row,” the Cabaret of Death and Zombie Apocalypse.” This is just the beginning of the mostly chills and thrills the daring will experience.

Blood Manor is open Thursday through Sunday evenings through Nov. 5 plus Tuesday and Wednesday night Oct. 25-26. General admission is $28.50 for E-tickets or phone orders in advance or $35 at the door; e-tickets are recommended as they guarantee your entry for that date. R.I.P. Express Entry tickets for $43.50 through Oct. 16 or $48.50 Oct. 20 through Nov. 5 are available, by-passing the line. Student Nights offer discounts for high school and college students; birthday celebrants get in free, with their friends getting a $5 discount.
