It's tee time!

Douglaston is home to one of Queen’s largest golf courses - the Douglaston Golf Course, located at 63-20 Marathon Parkway.

The clubhouse was redesigned to feature a catering facility in 2004. Around that same time, acclaimed architect Stephen Kay completely renovated the entire golf course.

According to golfnyc.com, the facelift moved the golf course up the ranks to number two in popularity amongst all golf courses in the five boroughs.

“We have the best manicured course in the city,” said Lou Cuoco, who works in the course's pro shop.

The course also boasts a full service snack bar, which serves up beer, soft drinks, sport drinks and water as well as hot dogs, hamburgers, fried finger foods and a variety of other snacks. Golfers can enjoy their snacks either on the course or on the outdoor patio overlooking the course.

Special rates and discounts are available for weekdays, early birds, seniors and juniors.  Tee times can be reserved up to ten days in advance.

For rates or to reserve a tee time, call the course at 718-224-6566, or visit www.golfnyc.com.
