Where/When: Alley Pond Environmental Center. On Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Why Go: Ten participants, ages 6 to 11 years old, will learn all about photography, with disposable cameras in hand, by going out and snapping their best shots of Alley Pond Park. APEC will provide all that is needed.

Pricing: Nonmembers, $66; Members, $54. Registration required.


Where/When: . On Saturday, at 1 p.m. Meet at the Visitor's Center.

Why Go: Dare to enter the tunnels and really see all that dwells inside Fort Totten Park? You'll embark on a guided tour like no other, through the tunnels at Fort Totten.

Pricing: Free


Where/When: . On Saturday, at 6:15 p.m.

Why Go: The C.W. Post Madrigal Singers will grace guests with symphonic melodies by Morley, Lassus, and Bach, to name a few.

Pricing: Free


Where/When:  . On Saturday, at 8 p.m., or Sunday, at 3 p.m.

Why Go: This Irving Berlin musical, which will feature such classics as “No Business Like Show Business,” “Doin’ What Comes Naturally,” and “Sun In The Morning,” as performed by a cast of 24.

Pricing: $20 for adults, and $18 for Seniors (62 and older) and kids (12 and younger).


Where/When:  Queens Museum of Art, 111 Street & 49 Avenue. On Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

Why Go: Families will get to tour the museum, and engage in workshops where their works will become an everlasting part of a community mural.

Pricing: $5 Suggested Donation for Adults and $2.50 for kids
