Why Go: The kids will have a blast with a number of activities, including canoe rides, games, and crafts.

Where/When: New York Hall of Science, 47-01 111 Street. On Friday, between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. or Saturday or Sunday
Why Go: Along with seeing all of the other exhibits and activities at the Hall, kids will see how science and art when it comes to chemistry and scientists/artists around the world.
Pricing: Free with general admission, which is $11 for adults and $8 for kids 2 to 17. Free admission hours are on Friday, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Where/When: The Unisphere at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, near 111 Street and 49 Avenue, behind the Queens Museum of Art. On Sunday, at 10 a.m.
