Where/When: Cunningham Park in Fresh Meadows, on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.

Why Go: Fresh air and physical activity, a great way to start a Saturday morning.

Pricing: Free.

 

Where/When: in Douglaston, on Saturday, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Why Go: Including a nature hike, crafts and real animals, this group will be the perfect activity to get not only those minds, but bodies, working as well. 

Pricing: Members, $15; Nonmembers, $20

 


Where/When: Queens College, 65-30 Kissena Boulevard, on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

Why Go:  After getting a performance of classical music, children, ages 6 to 12, will get to guess the composer of the famous pieces they've been hearing.

Pricing: $12

 


Where/When:  on Saturday or Sunday, at 1:00 p.m.

Why Go: A guided tour of Fort Totten, along with all of the historical information that will leave the kids, and adults, in awe.

Pricing: Free.

 

Where/When: on Sunday, at 3:00 p.m.

Why Go: The 20 member dance troupe will perform dances that originated in their native Ukraine, complete with traditional Ukrainian attire.
