Take a virtual family trip on a budget around the world — or back in time — with these ideas

Spring is here (at least, according to the calendar), so we think it's high time for a mini-vacation — preferably one that will not break the family bank.

At St. Francis Prep, visit almost any country, without leaving Queens, during International Night on Friday. Or get in gear with some time travel with “Pippin,” as the musical transports the audience into the Middle Ages for a fairytale adventure with a 1970s twist.

Staying local? Try egg hunting with the Easter Bunny. Or, turn your mall trip into a walk-a-thon. Your next family journey awaits!
