Where/When: Queens Museum of Art inside Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Friday, from 7:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m.

Why Go: What better way to have kids learn that through a good old, competitive, trivia contest?

Pricing: Free, but those interested in competing must register with the museum prior to attending.

 


Where/When: 65-30 Kissena Boulevard, in Queens College's Colden Auditorium on Saturday at 8:00 p.m.

Why Go: Take the family to a concert everyone can enjoy. Yes, that means you too.

Pricing: General Admission, $38. Seniors get a $2 discount, so feel free to bring grandma and grandpa to the show!

 


Where/When: Alley Pond Adventure Center inside Alley Pond Park in Douglaston. On Saturday at 5:00 p.m.

Why Go: Run by the Urban Park Rangers, this event will have participants searching, in the dark, for all that goes bump in the night inside Alley Pond Park. Don't forget your flashlight!

Pricing: Free.

 


Where/When:  58-20 Little Neck Parkway, in the Samuel Field Y, on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm.

Why Go: This carnival not only provides fun to the kids with bouncy houses and crafts, but teaches them about the celebration surrounding Purim.

Pricing:  Admission is free, while tickets for rides will be on sale.

 


Where/When: 150 Dosoris Lane, at , on Sunday, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Why Go: Kids see kids performing an array of dance styles for a good cause.

Pricing: $12
