Where/When: Bay Terrace Public Library. On Friday, at 2:30 p.m.

Why Go: This is the perfect event for game fanatics, for an afternoon of board games, with children, teenagers and adults.

Pricing: Free


Ice Skating

Where/When: World Ice Arena, in Flushing Meadows Corona Park at Avery Avenue and 131st Street. On Saturday, from noon to 4:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9:50 p.m.

Why Go: This is a great way to get the whole family up and out of the house for an energizing and active day!

Pricing: Weekend admission, $8; Skate Rentals, $5 each.

Chanukah Wonderland

Where/When: Chabad of Northeast Queens Community Center, 212-12 26th Avenue. On Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: This event's activities will include arts and crafts, a Menorah lighting and tasty snacks, like Sufganiyot.

Pricing: $5

Movie Night

Where/When: . On Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Why Go: The younger ones will have a blast watching Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked and for the slightly older ones, Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol.

Pricing: Adults, $10.50; kids, $7.50

Sunday Brunch 

Where/When: . On Sunday.

Why Go: Because the kids get to eat for free!

Pricing: Adults, $14.95 to $16.95. One free child entree with each adult entree purchased.
