Where/When: Cunningham Park. On Thursday, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Why Go: Because this is a family-friendly movie night featuring the comedy with Ben Siller. The kids will have a blast with the twist of an outdoor movie night.

Pricing: Free

 


Where/When: Flushing Meadows Corona Park. On Friday, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: Participants will not only hear the traditional sounds of the country, but be privy to a cultural practice that features millions of beautiful flowers.

Where/When: Alley Pond Environmental Center, 228-06 Northern Boulevard.

Why Go: This event features all the stars in the sky. You'll learn about various constellations, from an astronomer, as well as spot them out with a telescope. You can't beat that.

Pricing: Nonmember adults: $12; Adult Members: $10; Kids (7-12): $7

 


Where/When: Bayside Historical Society. On Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. 

Why Go: This exhibit features historical photographs, of Bayside, compared to newly taken ones of the same locations.

Pricing: Suggest donation of $3

 


Where/When: New York Hall of Science, 47-01 111 Street. On Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: Not only will the family reep the benefits of purchasing farm fresh produce, but you'll learn scientific facts in the process.

Pricing: NYSCI admission. Adults, $11; Children (2 – 17), $8; Senior Citizens (62 & older), $8
