Why Go: This word game event is for the whole family. Play against each other, or others, while showing off and expanding your vocabulary.

Where/When: . On Saturday, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Why Go: This is a great way to not only show support for Bayside High School, but all those fighting cancer.

Where/When: The Alley Pond Adventure Center inside Alley Pond Park. On Saturday, starting at 6 p.m.

Why Go: Urban Park Rangers will supply campers (families of 4) with tents and snacks for a night under the stars.

Pricing: While this event is free, prior registration is required.

 


Where/When: Fort Totten Park, at 212 Street and Bell Boulevard. Meet at the Fort Totten's Visitor's Center, on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Why Go: You'll get a guided tour of , with some physical activity to go with it.

Sunday Brunch

Where/When: , on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.

Why Go: Because kids, under the age of 12, get to eat for free, if you're buying an adult entree. This is a Father's Day gift that's worth it!
