1. New York Playoff Special
Where and When: Bourbon Street. On Friday or Saturday during the Knicks or Nets playoff games.
Why Go: Specials include wings for 20 cents and Sam Adams for $3.75, while a New York team is playing, of course.
Price: Food and drink prices vary. Specials apply.

It’s My Park Day
Where and When: Alley Pond Park at the Winchester Boulevard Parking Lot. On Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Why Go: You’ll be giving the Alley Pond Pet Lovers a helping hand in cleaning the park.
Price: Free  

3.
Strawberry Festival and Flea Market
Where and When: Bayview Swim Club, located at 217-14 24th Avenue. On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: A kid’s paradise, this event will have face painting, balloon animals, pony rides and crafts. For the adults? Hourly door prizes, chair massages and plenty of food vendors.
Price: Free to attend.  

4.
Celebrate Queens Farm 
Where and When: Queens County Farm Museum. On Sunday between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go:  The day’s events will feature sheep sheering, tours by the farmers, insight into the Community Compost Project and a Spring Plant Sale.
Price: $5 per person.  

5.
Swing & Sangria! Jazz Brunch at “The Castle”
Where and When: Bayside Historical Society. On Sunday at noon.
Why Go: Because after a full day of kids activities on Saturday, you deserve to a musically infused brunch with some sangria.
Price: $20; $15 for members
